Following three years as BlueMark's Administrative Assistant, Karin was promoted to the role of accountant in March of 2023. Her problem-solving, client relations, and organizational skills are the keys to her success as she now handles all accounts payable and accounts receivable. Karin is a proud wife and mother of four children. She enjoys spending time with her family, attending her son's baseball and soccer games, and shopping with her daughter.
Following many years in the custodial industry, Mike joined the BlueMark team in 2023. Mike specializes in keeping our office property lobbies and restrooms tidy and the supplies fully stocked. He assists in all aspects of maintaining the office buildings and retail centers managed by BlueMark. In his free time, Mike enjoys listening to and recording music.
As a member of our maintenance team, David comes with many years of maintenance experience. Formerly a maintenance technician at a local high school for 20 years, he is equipped to tackle a large variety of maintenance projects. He is always willing to help where needed. David is directly responsible for the properties that BlueMark manages in Fairview Heights, Shiloh, O'Fallon, and Waterloo, Illinois.
David likes to spend his free time bird hunting, playing golf, and spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks with his family and friends.
Bringing over 10 years of experience in building maintenance, Mike Carnes joined the BlueMark team as a Maintenance Technician in 2024. He is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of BlueMark’s properties in the Fairview Heights area. As Mike keeps each facility tidy and organized, his expertise in tackling a variety of handyman tasks also keep help the infrastructure of each property functioning seamlessly. In his free time, Mike prioritizes family time and attending his grandkids sporting events, while he also finds time for gardening and traveling to explore new destinations.
Aaron brings over two decades of dedicated experience to commercial real estate property management. He's expertly handled a diverse range of properties, including office, retail, medical, and industrial spaces. Most recently, Aaron skillfully managed a portfolio of 30 retail locations across the Kansas City market.
A recent transplant to St. Louis, Aaron relocated from Milwaukee, WI in 2019. With four children, free time is a luxury, but he still finds time for long-distance running. Aaron has completed more than a dozen half marathons and two full marathons, with his most recent full marathon in 2019. Adding to his unique story, Aaron has a rare Christmas birthday and holds dual citizenship with Switzerland.
Kimberly LaMartina brings over 26 years of extensive experience in property management. As the current Facilities Manager, she excels at combining her passion for organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal collaboration. Her career spans a diverse portfolio, from residential communities to mixed-use commercial properties, embracing the unique challenges and variety each day presents.
Kimberly possesses a strong background in leading teams, overseeing daily operations, managing budgets and financials, and coordinating with contractors and vendors to ensure seamless functionality. A significant aspect of her role involves cultivating robust relationships with tenants, team members, and partners, ensuring everyone feels supported and valued.
Outside of her professional life, Kimberly is dedicated to spending time with family and friends, traveling, engaging in sports, and volunteering in mission work. Maintaining strong connections and purpose is a core value for her, both personally and professionally.
